We will work with the client to design an in-process measurement program that is statistically controlled (data consistency and stable) where currently nothing formally exists. We define a measurement methodology to include the selection of the measurement instrument for application adaptability, documentation of measurement procedures and operating instructions for support. As for improving an existing measurement program, we track the overall quality of the client’s manufacturing operation capability for identification of problems in the existing measurement process using Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to minimize process rejection and rework.
